Starting the Blogging Process

The best blogs are tools for reflection that help extend both your learning and the greater conversation. Dip your toes in the proces by reading "Thinking Like a Blogger" by Will Richardson. Once you have read the blog, consider Richardson's thoughts and what they might mean for you, your practice as a teacher, and your students' learning. Then, write about your thoughts on your blog.

Because of the emphasis on conversation and reflection, consider structuring this post as follows:

• Mention the article you are responding to and be sure to include a link,
• Paraphrase or quote the piece that strikes a cord, and
• Add your thoughts to the conversation.
